The attorney general’s office says if you fail to pay child support in Travis County, you will be picked up.

Janece Rolfe with the A-G’s office says Travis County Constable Bruce Elfant arrested 64 parents last month who didn’t make the payments. She says they shouldn’t be surprised when they’re locked up.

Rolfe says parents arrested for not paying child support can expect to spend up to six months in jail.
